I don't think the NFL will let teams trade players during this draft.

Not a big fan of Aldon Smith, I'd take Akeem Ayers, JJ Watt, and Cameron Jordan over Smith.

They will be allowed to do it, but I doubt we'll see anybody traded that has a large contract.

Interesting that Lance Z, who has been solidly on the Aldon-to-Houston bandwagon for some time, backed off it in his final mock and has the Texans taking JJ Watt. Not sure which is better, but an interesting development from probably the best-connected source out there.

I just googled his mock draft.

If Andy Dalton is #8 overall, I'll buy you an Aldon Smith Mizzou uni.

Also saying he doesn't believe the "Texans might trade up" talk.

Could they get around this with the "for future considerations" language?

I don't have a clue who we are going to pick, but I can almost guarantee that if we stay at pick 11 ESPN and NFL network will both go to commercial when we pick.

I find it hard to believe teams can't verbally agree to trades and wait to make them official later.

Man, though, has the NFL been knocked off balance by the series of legal nutshots the players won.

    Dear God,

Please let Peterson slip to #6 and the Texans trade up for him. We Texans fans have been through quite a lot and really do not want to seen Aldon Smith aka Jason Babin part two on this team.

    Thanks!

Man, I'd be happy if he fell to #5.

Could you tell me the similarities between Aldon Smith and Jason Babin, other than apparently being players you dislike? Explain to us the scouting you've done and the talent similarities between those two players.
