With Holloween just a couple of days away, I'm looking forward to the usual Holloween movie marathon. As a kid, wasn't it great to go over a friend's house, with all your pals, to watch scary movies for hours? Too bad we eventually grow up a face something even more scary.....adulthood! Anyways, what's your favorite all-time scary movie(s)? Mine are: 1. The Omen & The Omen II (I still get creeped out every time I watch these two movies. Worst part is, it could ALL be true, i.e. Bin Laden, Saddam, etc.) 2. Holloween (Friday the 13th AIN'T got nothing on this original franchise!)
1. Dawn Of The Dead 2. Serpent and The Rainbow 3. Angel Heart - Does it count as Horror? 4. Shining 5. All the Freddy, Jason, teenie flicks
The Others probably scared me more than anything else. I know it didn't scare a lot of people at all. Most horror movies make me squeamish, not scared.
Check out AMC's "Monsterfest". They are showing non-stop horror flicks of the older classics and the more recent horror films.
I was asking Tara about this after seeing "The Ring" Some of my favs: Pet Semetary Children of the Corn Exorcist 1 and 3 Salem's Lot American Werewolf in London ...and I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of any right now...I'll add more as I think of them...
Without a doubt, it is "The Shining" for me. After seeing this movie, I will be haunted by images from it for a week or so.
ok...that movie scared the bejeepers out of me. some really disturbing imagery, particularly revolving around the death and funeral of a child.
Bambi seriously: what lies beneath.i'm not easily scared and i wasn't with this movie but the settting was great. and i watched it with my girlfriend and she screamd alot.
