I foresee the McD beating thread derailing into a D&D thread so I will go ahead and create this here. Issue: Transexual people gotta use the restroom. Ladyboy still has a wiener and has to urinate. Is it okay for the ladyboy to be in the girls bathroom seeing how all the plumbing is attached and working? I believe no. Just because they feel the "emotional" drive of being a woman doesnt mean they are until the frank and beans are gone.

Since gender-divided restrooms are based on social custom rather than any health or safety issue, if they explicitly identify as females they should be allowed to use the female restroom.
I agree with Pouhe. What it comes down to is a question of behavior and less than gender. If a pre-op transexual is just going to pee I don't see what is wrong with using the bathroom of the gender they are changing too. As noted in the other thread women's bathroom stalls have doors so its not like they are exposing themselves and if they are there to sexual harass other patrons that would be prohibited no matter what gender they were and which bathroom they were in. Also from my own experience I have been in several situations where women have used the men's bathrooms at concerts or crowded bars where the line to the women's is too long. Also men have been directed to use the women's bathrooms in situations where the men's is being cleaned or serviced and vice versa. While social convention dictates what bathrooms we use I certainly don't think someone should be beaten just for peeing in the wrong one. At most it merits a complaint to management.
