When the losing seasons start stacking up, maybe Morey will be tempted to be as desperate as Isiah...judgement day still awaiting on that comparison.

HA! HA! This really made me laugh! Wham, Bam Thank you Ma'am. Turn out the lights the party's over.

What I find amusing is it's either or with Morey worshippers. Either you think he is God amongst GM's or you hate him. I for one think he is a good GM. I think he has made some good trades. I don't even have a problem with the trades even with T-Will it was a shot at something better that didn't pan out. But I still to this day question his player evaluation skills. All the stats in the world don't show heart.

Fortunately he does seem to listening to other people on the subject. But Adelman was one of those other people and now he is gone. As far as crunching numbers and money management I think he is probably second to none. But spending 6 mil and picking Jtaylor and LLULL instead of Blair and Bud had me baffled. To me that was part of his learning on the job. I could go on and I would if I thought it would make a difference but people like Meh and Bimathug think he can do no wrong so what is the point.

It's funny you guys are bashing me as a Morey worshipper, yet if he sucks so much, why not try to find an upgrade?

I mean, look at the Texans and Gary Kubiak. Every Texans fan has talked incessantly about coaches they'd rather have than Gary right now. Yet where are all the GMs that can come in and make Morey look like the lame stat-geek he is?

Come on, folks. At least one of you can give a real answer, right? RIGHT? I mean, we all want the Rockets to be a top contender, so surely you guys want the right man to take us there?:confused:

I'd love Isiah too if he were giving me ridiculous money for doing almost nothing.

If Isiah was so well loved, then why was he left off the Dream Team 1. Just saying...Isiah has been pissing/dissing people off since his early days...even Magic.

I don't want the man fired. I have no problem with him being here another season. He should be. I just find the worship amusing.

But if he doesn't start righting the ship quickly, he'll get his walking papers no matter what you or I think of him.

True. That's why during Morey's tenure, the roster has been stocked with gutless, tissue-soft fairies like:

    -Ron Artest
    -Chuck Hayes
    -Carl Landry
    -Kyle Lowry
    -Luis Scola
    -Patrick Patterson
    -Shane Battier

btw, I've been on the morey sucks at people skills, but I have to relate another cool story bro:)

morey's kid and my kid played 5-6 year old basketball together in winter 08-09. funny it was when the tracy mcgrady drama was going on, but the dude was pretty personable. he wasn't a good ball player, he used to participate in practice but his son was the best player on the team

Pretty much. I think O'connor from the jazz is one of the top gms in the league. He lost 2 hof's and withing 3 years, the team won 50 games. He drafted Mo Williams and Milsap in the 2nd rd, AK-47 late first, and signed Okur and boozer to market value deals. He didnt want to go through the Carmello deal with Williams and got the #3 pick Favors and 3 1st picks which are going to ge high lotto picks. If favors turns out to be good, they will be stockedand ready in 3 yrs max. Thing is, no fancy formulas or conferences, yet he picks alot of quality players. We dont hear him on the radio nor did we hear about the williams trade till it was pretty much complete.

Well, Isiah's mom wouldn't have picked him as point guard over Magic and Stockton. Doesn't mean she doesn't love him more.

Ok yet...another year of Houston looking from the outside in. I'll let Morey play ball (moneyball that is) before holding my judgment.

The pitch count is 3-2. He's close to striking out but not quite just yet.
