How to preserve snake skin?

    I have a 17 foot long snake skin of a snake that recently passed away. looking to preserve the skin for keepsake.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? It's actually for a friend and Ive never owned a snake before so I wouldn't know. Thanks

    the friend of mine is a zoo keeper.... where she works recently had a python that was 17ft long that recently had to be put down. The skin is currently frozen, but it can't be in there forever. Since I've never owned a snake, and she hadn't either, she brought up the question yesterday and I wanted to give her an answer.
