the current statue of Rockets

I have seen many posts lately. To me, many fans are trying to blind themself lately. Since Tmac was gone, Yao's done, what kind team do u think Rocket is? My answer is it is a rebuild team, far away from being contendor, out reach of playoff . It is painful to accept it, but it is the current situation.

Lets break down Rockets:

1, coach. RA is not doult a top 5 coach in league. But! he is not a coach for rebluiding. Like other elite coaches, they all don't like to use new players, and that is not a secret. So, what is the big dealt for firing RA? RA need to coach a playoff team, Rockets need to go for rebuild mode, end of story.

starters: Rockets don't have quality starters, and the situation has been for years, which also make me worry most.

point guard: check! thank godd for giving us Lowry.
Lowry has proven himself. He is a pg of allstars.

shooting guard: check! kevin martin

martin has been in league for years now, his stable stats speak for his value.
a miller/ray type of scorer. a weapon must to have for win.

small forword: miss! even when battier was here.

Chase: got potentials, unproven, worthy to give a try.
courtney: bench player, already reached his ceiling.

Big forword: miss!

Scola: lack of defense, geting old, not a good starter. better trade him when his stock is still high.
Patterson: high potentials! need to give him more play times and better training, but still cant fullfil for the position yet. Hope he is the second coming "lowry"
Jorden Hill: a trade piece, a role player, nothing more.

Center:Miss

Yao:he is done, even he come back. hope can get some back from a trade.
chuck: a role player. I like chuck, but! please dont overrate him. he is a back up c/F, nothing more.
Thabeet: a failed draft.

That's what I see, a team missed 3 starters, but have few nice young guys. Rockets has a long to go for getting back to top, and that starts with finding new star core. Therefore, In Morey, I trust.
