I wonder if is just another PR spin so the fans won't be disappointed they didn't give their favorites a chance, but have some short list of candidates they will seriously consider.

Or as Carl pointed out they just don't have a clue?

Sounds great, I was concerned Les was going to bring in a guy with no real search. I like that Morey gets to play the field.

It sounds like the are going to create a reality show to find the next big coach. Although that sounds like something Miami would do.

Looking at a whole host of candidates does not equate to a real search. A real search means they dig deep enough into the pool and the compatabilities etc. Is that going on? I'd like to think so.

I feel like you've said they were idiots about all of their decisions. If your past predictions are of any consequence, they better not hire Sikma.

And here I though, that knowing the top notch coach he is, they were letting go of Adelman because they had someone special in mind. I put my money in saying that maybe they do and this whole process is going to be a smokescreen (they were too coarse with the JVG situation) OR they're just looking for a competent yes! man, otherwise letting go of Adelman makes much less sense to me.

If history is any indication, any name mentioned in the article will NOT be the next coach.

So, out of nowhere, the next coach will be someone we have never heard of.

    ...

HOWEVER, there is still hope Brad Stevens can be an assistant coach?

Sorry, but don't believe it. They already know, and have known for awhile, who the next coach will be....the rest is just for show.

Well, the "interviews" will be an opportunity to learn about the 76er's success secrets.

If we're gonna use analytics in decision-making, might as well go all out and get a coach that trusts them too.

Just seeing his name made me crack up. There's no way, though. (I hope.)

Finally Rockets can create something on the media.

Hopefully it can match the Melo drama.

Warm. The very next HC of our Hou-sssston Ro-ckkk-ets will be Memphis' former coach, WorldWideWes. With the hiring of Coach Cal DM the GM can finally land a big-name to head to The Toy Shop thanks to the intervening hands of WWWes. Mark it down.
