Could Scola, Squid and 23 put us into the top 5?

Cause having Kanter at 5 and maybe Kawhi Leonard or Bismack at 14 would be t***.

Put me in with those that believe this pick will be packaged; or someone from the boonies in the Fatherland gets drafted and kept there until they're 22.

This pick is going to get traded to help move into the upper half of lottery for sure.

If the Rockets can package T-Will plus the 23th for a future 1st rounder, I will be happy.

The 14th plus the 23th could help us get as far as the 11th,but some teams might want more eg Chase as well, since this is a weak draft.

Klay Thompson is a Kevin Martin Clone. If we don't package this pick...I think we'll draft Khawi Lenard or farried

The following is a list of the past 15 23rd overall picks:

    trevor booker
    omri casspi
    kosta koufos
    wilson chandler
    josh boone
    francisco garcia
    sergei monia
    travis outlaw
    tayshaun prince
    brandon armstrong
    deshawn stevenson
    devean george
    tyronn lue
    bobby jackson
    efthimis rentzias

These picks range from total scrubs (rentzias?!) to great role players. I hope this pick gets included in a package for a higher pick or even just a future 1st round pick. This year is a shallow draft. now that I've somewhat accepted that the rockets are rebuilding, I would rather have a mid-late pick in a more talented draft than one in this year's draft. we'd be more likely to get a player that can at least contribute.

I also wouldnt mind trading this pick for a future pick, we need to stack up our draft picks next years trade deadline might have some superstars.

Thats a possibility also. The 38th pick looks like a keeper, but what Morey does with the 11th and 23rd pick is anyones guess. In my opinion Morey does the logical thing and tries to move up into the top 2 tiers of this draft with some sort of package deal. Its obvious the franchise is rebuilding.

I say we will sell the pick for cash considerations. Read: 3 million bucks.

Chris Singleton, 6'9'' SF out of Florida State. He's primarily recognized as a defensive stopper (he was the leader of the nation's top-rated D this year), but he's a legitimate inside-out threat on the other end of the floor, and even posted a couple of triple-doubles this year. He's one of the more underrated players in the Draft, IMO.

I'm thinking Singleton will be out of our reach come draft day. I was thinking just in case we pulled a trade with Lowry and #14 to move up in the top 5, we could use #23 on another PG. Dragic showed that he could man the point for us.

That list has some quality 3's! Let's keep it going by drafting Tyler Honeycutt!
