well i didn't forget the smilies but it was definitely a joke. except for occasionally playing on my friend's N64, GTA3 was the first game i had played pretty much since super nintendo. i was just commenting on its awesomeness and saying you should go beat people to death with bats on it.

GTA Vice City looks incredible. I heard that it is going to be the best game ever. I am going to buy it right when it comes out.

im disappointed that the main character is going to actually speak. thats one of a million things i loved about gta3. is that the main guy never spoke. he just had this beautiful mysteriousness about him.
BTW Free Agent I believe Vice City is PS2 exclusive. IIRC, Rockstar Games signed a PS2 exclusive agreement for all GTA games for like the next 4 years.
They said the same thing about GTA 3 and it was ported to the PC. I think it means that all the games will come out FIRST on the Playstation, but I would doubt that it means ONLY on the playstation. I mean what happens if the next Playstation bombs? Where would that put Rockstar? Heck the Play 2 is already only the 3rd best system..technology wise. The X-Box and GameCube blow it out of the water. DaDakota
cool - today i got the new egm in the mail and vice city is on the cover along with a huge story. all 3 reviewers gave it a perfect 10. after reading a couple mission descriptions(apparently you actually work with people occasionally) i can't wait to play it. anyways, i remember reading months back that vice city would eventually make it's way to the pc. however by the time gta3 got on pc i had already played the crap out of it on playstation. if they did come out at the same time i'd definitely choose the pc version because of the mouse and keyboard plus improved graphics. this would be a great game for the x-box.
BigM, It is easier for me to sneak in a few hours of play at my desk at work then at home with my wife and kids. I want it on PC, and I want it NOW !! DD
My understanding is that Rockstar's exclusivity agreement with Sony only covers platform systems. Meaning that they can make it for the PC...but it will not appear on Xbox, Gamecube, or any other system of it type that comes along that is not made by Sony.
Isn't that the truth. I can't play GTA with the wife in the room with out getting the silent treatment for a couple hours, and It's not something I want my 2 year old exposed to. "Daddy why did you just steal that man's car and shoot all those people"? Try being a video game fan and a Mac user. It's gotten better but you want to talk about discrimination!!!
I've played gta3 and I own gta2, but I want to play gta vicecity badly. Might just finally purchase a ps2 for this one, 3, and maybe ffx
