just to be a smartass, mobley did wear the red and gold during that 3 on 3 all-star thing last year. rather than having them for one game how bout something like all home games? i agree with summit the last home game should definitely be retro as well.
HELL YEA!!! Man I live in Brownsville TX and well idont go to many Rockets games maybe like 1 or 2 a year cus i live 7 hours away from Houston but I watch them on TV all the time with League Pass. And what do u know the game I bought Tickets for like a month ago turns out to be probebly one of the biggest nights in Franchise History. I also got badass seats LOL damn here i thought it was gonna be a boring blowout Golden State on the wrong side of the blow out by the way LOL turns out like this Im gonna be yelling my lungs out man Ill take pics and post them up for you all im sitting in the lower section so hopefully the Zoom is badass.
I know, I know, you'd like to see em in person, but the Rockets actually had better luck with Seattle with the pajamas, so do you want a Rockets win or not? Tim, that's GREAT news! Hopefully the road team follows suit with an equally interesting throwback jersey - IMHO Philadelphia, Seattle, Utah, Phoenix, Golden State would be nice (Atlanta, Cleveland, NJ Washington, etc. change their jerseys too often). Of course, LA or Boston are timeless in that regard and would also be nice.
There seem to be plenty of seats left for the Nov. 9th game...even in the cheap skate $10.00 sections. I went all out and bought a couple of $13.00 ones
Tim, any chance you guys are rolling out the retro jerseys in April as foreshadowing of what's to come?? Pretty please! I'm really glad that you've chosen to retire Dream's old jersey since that's the one that's burned into our memories.
Made for head coaching? You are seeing something I don't. What are the key qualities - a great understanding of the intricacies of offense, the ability to teach team defense, an effective communicator and motivator? With only a few exceptions (Russell, Bird, Wilkens), the track record of great players who become successful coaches is extremely poor. (And no, I don't consider Byron Scott a great player). Coaching aside, IMO Rockets management is being more than generous in rushing this through.

Originally posted by verse yes. but will you understand a damn thing he says?

Not an elaborate speech, just a Moses speech. Sorta like that Fo Fo Fo speech, that proved to be Fo Five Fo. So here, he goes to the mic with a gift of a framed 34 jersey to hand to Hakeem and he says, This is fo Three-Fo. I think everyone will understand him.
