They were a mid-to-low playoff seed before tanking and are a low playoff seed now after tanking. Seems like they are pretty much right back where they were before.

the only 2 free throws he took late were with 2:27 to go and he definitely missed both (and then tony allen missed 2 right after that).

I picked the Griz to win this series and I'm still sticking by it.

This game was closer then what it should have been. The Griz missed a lot of freethrows and the refs were giving SA the benefit of the doubt on a lot of calls. I think Manu will have a hard time against Allen and Battier. Allen wasn't used properly in this game due to foul trouble and there wasn't a wing player for him to guard.

The Spurs, IMO, are to small to guard Memphis. Gasol and Randolph are to much for Duncan and everyone else to guard. The X-factor for Memphis will be Mayo. They need Mayo to score and play at a high level. If Conley can cancel out Parker and if Allen/Battier keeps Manu in check, I think Memphis will win this series.

Yes, the NBA is effing garbage as of now, if a number of teams did this to play the Lakers or the HEat stern would have been baking a new rule that don't allow teams to tank to get seeds.

Memphis should have played the Lakers and so should OKC, had New Orleans not try to tank also.

Now the Lakers get basically a free pass to the conference finals, while the Spurs, who are legitimate first seeds in the west get 3 of the 5 best teams in their side.
(Denver, OKC, Memphis) --> Spurs side
(Portland, Dallas, New Orleans) ---> Lakers side

That way you'll think Lakers are the first seed.

Oh STFU, the positive history of your franchise was due to tanking of unprecedented levels. Know your history and get off your high horse.

you got a video, because i could have sworn a grizzly made a free throw that should have given them a 95 but the score was still 94. i don't know. does anyone have a replay or something?

I feel sorry for the nation, I think pretty much everyone has to listen to these guys unless they live in the Memphis area.

Why is Manu under-cutting Battier when he launches the full court shot...have we seen this before?
