    why would we? he was our best SF.

    no.

    tony allen plays elite perimeter defense and appears to no longer be the worst offensive player in history. given shane is now older, it's easy to justify giving allen the starter's minutes.

    because they have a better option. of course, they still had team captain battier out there at the end.

    you act like battier demanded to start and we were tip-toeing around his ego.

    what statistical analysis? the one that said we were better with battier on the court than off the court every year he was year, significantly so most years?

    Hated the trade for Thabeet from day #1. I hope we try to sign Battier in the offseason, but I doubt either side is interested.

    Congrats to Battier. I'm so rooting for Memphis with Battier and Ish on their bench. Same with Landry Ariza and Andersen for the Hornets.

    Happy to see them playing, but glad Battier is no longer a starter with the Rockets.
