draftexpress.com have us taking KLAY THOMPSON
    nbadraft.net -Shelvin Mack

we do need to strengthen our small forward spot, but I say we go for the BTA. (Who would've thought Aaron Brooks would get us out of the first round and take the Lakers to 7 games?)
I say we draft talent and preferably a two way player, a defensive minded small forward fits well next to Scola and Martin. And defensive stoppers are hard to find in the NBA nowadays.

But I do believe Morey would trade up(with a squid) or for a first round pick next year if things are available.

Mack is too up and down with his game. I say hope that Chris Singleton falls that far. A great mix of offense and defense. He is the perfect Bud replacement. He may even end up in the lottery. If we miss out on him, go for Jeff Taylor, aka Battier 2.0.

That 14th pick is a much easier pick, imo. The 23rd is where it gets sorta tricky because of the players that will be left.

Lucas Nogueira. Kid looks like a skinner Bynum. Huge reach and great mobility.

Rox GM said before that they need to start drafting players with "more upside". Nogueira got a lot of that.

    So does Jeff Taylor.. :)

If he stays in the draft, i doubt he will make it to #23. But if he does, lets go for it!

im not really sold on Nogueira, there are too many players like him in the past that just never makes it to be productive...
if you want to get someone like Bynum, that guy I believe will pan out is DeAndre Jordon.
I would do a sign and trade with Clippers that send them the 14th pick for DeAndre Jordon, thats if Jordon really wants to come to Houston.

Travis Leslie or Tobias Harris. Leslie is like a SG version of Lowry. Harris is the classic Tweener that most likely will become a SF.

I want them to stack up on centers. Get Lucas and sign DeAndre Jordan if they can. Pile them up and one of them will eventually pan out. :/

I dont see the Rockets actually making this selection but packaging it with other assets to move upor for a future pick. They simply dont have the roster space to add three draft picks and resign their FA's much less add outside the talent from ouside the orginization they need.
