just got email that my withdrawal was declined.

Yup. Mine as well. Can't access FT either.

My friend is somehow able to. Had him log into my account. Whenever he clicks Transfer or Withdraw, a notice comes saying that it is unavailable at the moment but "your money is safe." (and obviously, can't play either).

No idea what is going to happen.

 

it's probably for the best as i don't think any bank would dare to cash the check from one of their processors. i did use up all my FT points to purchase a couple of folding chairs and sports stuff. if that goes through, at least i'll still get something out of it.

 

Sounds like they could make a movie out of this.

Seems the sites bought/bribed small banks to process their payments and masked the nature of what they were doing.

I don't know how the sites themselves could be shut down unless it's just a US thing. Guess you guys will just have to find another way to lose your money for a bit

 

you knew it was illegal, but you still played and put money in it anyway. No sympathy.

 

How is sports book.com still on if it does almost the same thing as the other sites?

You see, it's illegal to bet on numbers unless it's the governments numbers.

The government closes down poker sites like these because the government can't get a piece of the action.

If you don't think there's any corruption in American government, look no further than the lottery/gambling laws that exist in this country.

And this not specific to any political party.

I am so sick of the personal freedoms we have given away as citizens in this country. It is unbelievably frustrating.

I hope we can elect people that will change this in the future, but I seriously doubt it.
