The development of Kyle Lowry's game by far. The whole board talked about what Lowry needed to do ever since we first got him in order to be a star/difference maker and especially last year and this off season in order take his game to the next level and he did exactly that. Often times fans, critics, the coaches and the player's themselves know what they need to do to make improvements but for one reason or another you don't always see that most often times because they don't wanna work hard and sometimes because they don't get the opportunity. I know Lowry was given a major opportunity but what's more impressive is Lowry continued to work hard at his game even after he got paid. The guy is easily my favorite Rocket on this current squad and was a bright spot to a rather bleak season. I hope he continues to stay humble and keeps working hard. 2nd would be Kevin Martin's efficiency. He's probably the purest/most efficient/prolific natural scorer we've had in a long time. It was so nice to see him draw fouls and get to the line and actually hit BOTH ft's. Added bonus... Kevin was able to stay healthy the whole season and only missed 3 games. A big knock on him before he came was that he was injury prone. It was nice to see him play big minutes and put up big numbers. I love this team and even though we missed out on the playoffs we were starting to gel and players seemed like they finally started to understand RA's system. I hope we can bring back the core players and coaches and add a big body or two this off season.
The development of Patterson from a D-Leaguer to playing significant minutes. But to me, the highlight of the year was the entire game against the Celtics here in Houston. That was just a top notch ass whoopin'.
I'm with you all the way on Kyle. He's a natural leader. His commitment/drive.... led to the hard work he put in during the offseason...That combined with his talent has transformed him into a legit all star candidate and the leader of this team.
Cool story, bro. The title clearly asks for a favorite "moment". Kyle Lowry's development and K-Mart's efficiency weren't "moments". A moment is more like how long I lasted in bed with my last girlfriend.
These are the times that try men's souls .......As a Houston sports fan I prefer to not get caught up in semantics ......moments,happenings, positives ....I'm sure the OP would give us the latitude to hold on to whatever we can. Seriously, it's a kickass feeling to finally, after all these years, have a stud defender up top. (as distant nightmares of Gary Payton, KJ, and Rod Strickland rolling through the lane at will flash through my head). I mean when we had John Lucas, he was past his prime. (and still would have won a title if not for the Cocaine Cowboys deal) Kyle has a chance to become not only the best PG in the history of this franchise (respect to a` young Sam), but the leader of a perennial contender.

- Chuck Hayes triple double -Kyle Lowry's triple double -Chuck Hayes stealing the ball from Garnett -being in the New Orleans Arena when the Rockets had their comeback win -Both Celtics games were phenomenal this season, but the 2nd one is one I will never forget. -beating the Lakers at home -having our un-drafted rookie point guard Ish Smith taking over in the Spurs game with Brooks and Lowry out, and leading us into overtime. -The Rockets buying out Jared Jeffries contract - multiple clutch shots by Lowry
i know the record was similar to last yr, but somehow this one just seemed rather hopeless and empty. No Yao. No Tracy. Not even in the wings. Lots of complementing players, but no-one to complement. I just didn't get that 'just wait until next year vibe' this time 'round. Ugh.
