I think it was an act because it isn't like he was trying to get at him the whole time. He sat there and then waited until he was ejected to try and charge the Cleveland bench. I think he knew he would not make it to the Cleveland bench and did it to act/look tough even though he just turned out looking like an idiot.
I don't get what the big deal is. This was clearly all part of a master plan to make a Pistons v. Cavs game at least mildly entertaining. Like pro wrestling. Well played Charlie V, you had me fooled.
Actually, names are almost always changed in different languages. Which is why we call Espana Spain here in the States and, off the top of my head, the Spaniards refer to London as Lundene.
No, names were almost always changed in the past. The only present-day people whose names are still changed in other languages off the top of my head are kings and popes and such. We certainly don't call the president of the USA Baraco Obamo...
i heard that Ryan Hollins told Villanueva that he was hairless and smooth, like a seal. that's what set off Villanueva. he goes off on people that make fun of his alopecia.
Maybe he was more disgusted than angry with Garnett. Hollins got under his skin to the point that he wanted to fight Hollins. Maybe actions anger him more than words, who knows.
Does this mean I can complain when people pronounce my name ( Nick ) as Neek or Nicolas instead of Nicholas. Because it happens pretty often. Saying names don't get changed is ridiculous. Pronounce names however you want, who gives a f**k. I pronounce Villanueva how it sounds in English, so does my wife who speaks fluent Spanish.
I'd be more concerned about those minorities learning English since this is a English speaking country. A lot of them have horrible English pronunciation. But my point is as long as you can communicate what is the big deal.
I'm just saying different languages pronounce things differently. If that is the case with Hispanic countries they will be ridiculed like crazy. Because no matter how hard you are not going to get for example someone's name right in Chinese, Korean or Japanese if you don't speak that language natively. Anyways not much to discuss so moving on. Another season with no Rockets in the playoffs and a long off season. Looks like I'll just have to root against Miami, Boston and LA and be entertained by Charlie cancer patient V.
