    Calling all homers..

Scola has not averaged 20/10 in ANY season as a Rocket, yet you think he would magically average that on ANY other team. Not happening. Scola is a great offensive player and puts up the numbers to show it -- but how's his defense? Average? Below-average?

I believe the Rockets will look to move Scola by the next trade deadline. Originally I hoped we'd use one of our better players to help us trade up in the 2011 draft, but with everyone withdrawing it might be best for us to look toward next year.

WTF are you smoking? His last full season Redd had a TS% of 0.556. That's way below 0.600. The much maligned inefficient Carmelo Anthony has a TS% of 0.557, actually 0.001 better than Redd.

FTA and FTM isn't that relevant because KM gets you like 11 fts a game, while Redd gets you like 4.

Yeah, after games like tonight vs. DAL where he shot us out of the game, I'd like to wring his neck.

What was he thinking? Grrrr ... trade him and get a stronger SG who can defend even if he's not efficient

His value would triple if games ended at 3 quarter time.

    Why do you say that?

Miller's contract is only guaranteed for $878k in 2012-13. They could just waive him right before free agency begins in 2012 and only suffer a negligible impact on their cap room. Plus, Miller's contract may actually have some very positive trade value on draft night in 2012 that could help the Rockets make a big trade or maybe move up in the draft by taking on some salary from another team.

Bottom line: Brad Miller's contract will hardly affect the Rockets' ability to pursue free agents in 2012.

His value is about where it always has been.
He can be traded for any good player on a bad team that has no upside and no guts.

They should get rid of miller and probably they only way is to pair him with scola.

Roslolian- The ts% per 36 mins is what it is, another stat. You can be ultra effecient like martin, but he's terrible in the last 6 minutes of a game. He and granger basically take the same amount of shots and martin scores 2ppg more. My point is, granger is a better defender, rebounder, passert, and shot maker. I'm not going to make it like granger is far superior, but the difference between granger's all around game is bigger than martins effenciency. It could be seen as a lateral move, but granger can defend his position. Granger can create a quality shot late in games. I think if granger and martin were to switch places, the rockets would win 3 or 4 more games. Still a lotto team, but a better team.

Well, the two seasons before, Redd's TS% was around 57 and 58 percent and Martin has never averaged 11 FTA. This seaons he avgs 8 and in his best seasons prior to this, he avged 10 and 9 while Redd was around 7 and 8....just not that big of a difference.

Not arguing who is better just saying the comparison is legit.
