I voted Martin due to the sheer fact that he put it together for a full season. To get 80 games out of relative consistency out of guy people had labeled so many things is quite impressive to me. Worst case scenario: Martin just maxed out his trade value, which is obviously a good thing for us.
In order to be a team's MVP, you have to be able to play both sides of the balls, which is what eliminated guys like Martin and Scola for me. It ultimately came down to Kyle Lowry and Chuck Hayes, and since Lowry contributes in EVERY facet of the game, I went with him. I don't think anybody expected the leaps that both players' games took, but Lowry was playing at a borderline All-Star level for the final 25 games of the season. If he continues to play with this level of intensity, and focus, next season is going to be a fun ride.
This season I'd have to say Scola...He was the reason we were in so many games until Lowery took over...Like one pearson said earlier, its not his fault that consistency gets overlooked for the "wow factor (Lowry)"...But I still say trade his azz because consistency will only get you so far when you're tryin to get to the top...We need that "wow factor(D.Howard)" every night....
I picked Lowry because he was given an opportunity to start due to Brooks' injury and he turned into a starting PG.
