Yeah it's amazing. I had no idea he still had this kind of fight in him. I don't know how long he can keep it up. He doesn't have the legs for it but wow. I am amazed.

It would be an amazing ending. I don't think it will happen, but I'm honestly thinking it will either be a draw or Morales will win it, if he can take this 12th round.

I just got goosebumps watching him sitting on the stool waiting to come out. It's like a real life rocky movie.

This could definitely be a draw. Regardless, it was a historic showing by Morales. Nobody expected this type of showing. Fighting the most dangerous 140 pounder out there, with one eye from the beginning of the fight. This is the definition of a ****ing warrior.

It should have been a draw. That would have set up a rematch. It would have made a big fight between the two. The judges should be shot!

Apparently there will be a rematch regardless. They both want it.

Yeah. Bladeage where did you watch the fight? I couldn't find an hbo feed, all I could find was skynet. I get mad because I can never find the best feeds.

I wished I would have paid for it, too. It certainly had a Latin Fury-feel to it, which I am a big fan of. Robert Guerrero showed me a lot tonight. That kid is a beast.

Yeah, Ghost definitely put on a boxing show. I knew that would be a great fight. I also kinda liked watching Kirkland the hypejob get knocked down a peg. That kid has so much work to do. Unfortunately you can't teach having a chin.

Nights like this is why I love boxing. In that ring, anything can happen. It doesn't matter what the vegas odds are or how unmatched the fight may seem. NOBODY gave Erik a chance. Yet, he went in there and turned back the clock. With one freaking eye! This is a guy that was supposedly shot when he fought Pacman. But I had a feeling in my guy that Erik was going come in and do work. Didn't think he'd do as well as he did but I didn't think he was gonna get ran over either.

I had it as a draw. Could have went either way but overall good scoring from the judges. As for a rematch, I don't know. Apart of me wants to see Erik hang it up before he gets too hurt. I rather see Morales-Barerra IV or Marquez-Morlaes. This is why you can't count anyone out in a boxing fight. James Kirkland got Pearl Harbored by a guy who he was suppose to walk through. Maidana had to go to hell with Morales to escape with a win. I'm telling yall, even Mosley has a chance to prove everyone wrong and make his fight competitive.

Terible was amazing last night. Not only did his legs hold up for 12 rounds, but he walked though some vicious body shots that would have sent most fighters to a knee. I had the fight a draw. Maidana won two of the first 3 rounds (you could make a case forgiving him the first 3) and the last two. Morales pretty much swept the middle rounds. I wouldn't have had a problem with the fight going to either fighter by a round. 116-112 is a joke though. No way Maidana won 8 rounds. That type of judging tells me that Erik lost the fight as soon as he left Tijuana.

In terms of a rematch, I may favor Morales. They biggest question marks were his legs and chin. His legs looked fine (even after a well placed body attack) and he took Maidana's power well. Not only that, biut he fought with one eye for 11 rounds. I'd say the one thing that continues to digress is his hand speed but Maidana isn't hard to hit. Erik also wouldn't be coming off such a long layoff. I'd also love to see JMM/Morales. That would be a real war and fight of the year candidate. Maybe JMM knew a lot more then any of us when he passed on a Morales fight earlier this year. There may be too much money in that fight now for him to walk away.

Kirkland has a glass chin and no movement. He's strictly a power puncher with a come forward style. He was rocked last month by a no hoper a couple of times. Kirkland claimed it was a balance issue and people kind of moved on but tonight really laid the blue print on what to do with him in the ring.

Haha. Pretty much. I was more referring to the fact that you could tell Ishida wasn't the least bit intimidated by James. I think you can hear glass break when he gets hit

Funny comment last night on the by the british commentators in reference to Michael Katsidis: His fighting with his face, jim. LOL.

Ghost had his number though last night.

other news: Who was it said Kirkland was a beast? Not me.

But in fairness, they were fighting this guy way too much. He had to be out of gas.

Katsidis is all heart but his best days are long behind him. I'm hoping he's saved up a good amount of money because he's really substained a lot of punishment over the years and should be thinking about hanging them up. Maybe one more nice pay day.

Guerrero has always been a very talented fighter. Normally he's just really boring in the ring. I heard rave review this whole camp on how he was looking in sparring. Maybe the fact that his wife's health has stabalized has allowed him to focus soley on boxing.

Lots of boxing people were high on Kirkland. People love pure KO power and he has it in both hands. Sadly, it looks as if he's just another Curtis Stevens (although Stevens had an iron chin). ASll power and no other skills in the ring
