I think Scola and either Miller or Thabeet would work. But, I doubt Miami would take that deal, and Bosh is probably not the guy we should be going after.
I think people are underestimating what a guy like Bosh could do for this team. Of course we'd still need to nab a defensive-minded big from somewhere (DeAndre Jordan), but subtract Scola and add Bosh + Jordan and I, personally, think we'd be a 55+ win team.
This! I swear people on clutchfans fall in love with players on our current squad way too much. Scola for Bosh is a no brainier.
I would get Bosh if we could trade just Scola for him. Problem is that won't happen, and if we trade more than just Scola for him, the negativity that he brings along could be more detrimental to our team than his positivity.
No. Now he is overpaid and proved to be Scolas clone. Scola makes less and gives the same production. Might as well trade Scola for aupgrade at SF and move on from any Bosh discussions. We dont need him onr a PF for that mattter if we trade away Scola because we have Patterson and Hayes here.
Agreed. In a season largely marked by a lack of toughness and being undersized, I have a hard time believing bringing a stretch 4 to pair next to Chuck is the answer. If Scola moves, lets give those starter minutes to patterson. The kid is pure hustle.
To bring back quality players that give their team more depth. Been rumored before, and I think there is a good chance they put him on the trading block.
