zach is one of the last true post players, so I doubt i'll be surprised, but I have one question and I respect the guy, is he playing defense now?

What? Did I miss something? When did the Lakers over take the Spurs for the top spot?

Last time I checked Memphis was going to face the Spurs in the 1st round.

With the way Memphis is playing they'll likely end up beating New Orleans tomorrow and leapfrog them for the 7th spot

He had 4 steals last night. A couple of games back he had 7 assists. He's on another level right now.

Also for the month of march he averaged 1.4 steals a game. Averaged that number. He also averaged 3.0 assists a game for that whole month. Surprise surprise.

Hopefully he's earning himself a max contract, so they'll have no choice but to surrender us Marc.

Truly a guy that finally got it -- was there a bigger bonehead in the NBA a few years back?

Yeah or he year before that. People who think Zach Randolph is performing this well because of it being his contract year obviously have no clue about Zach Randolph career. He has always put up very good numbers it 's just people didn't give him a lot of credit because of his rep.

Hell this is not even his best statistical year.

Anyone who thinks he is performing like this because of a contract year please click that link and come in here and state that again.

To be honest, he did surprise me. He always has the talent. But I thought he would never get it together. I guess he has finally matured.

So Squid does have a chance, maybe after 5 years or so in the league.

edit: Randolph always has good scoring and rebounding numbers. It's just he's so boneheaded and selfish, his numbers never translated into team success.
