It's not just a singing competition Pia is a great singer,got great vocal,but she is a mediocre performer.
Right? Well Pia was the only one I tuned into, but I guess Haley can fill in that role but her voice sucks IMO.
This is what i'm talking about.... everyone has their own taste when it comes to music... who cares about the judges now - well, you-know-who.
No big deal. Her career is much better off then becoming American Idol. I'm pretty sure she's glad that she isn't the winner or runner up because they are locked into signing with them for like 5 years.

pretty sure she was locked into a record deal via idol regardless (they have the right of first refusal)
That's only for the top X(2?) number of finishers. For example, I am pretty sure Daughtry scored his own deal.
I believe 19 Entertainment has the right of first refusal to sign them to a contract if they make the top 12(13) (whereas they're forced into a contract for the top 2)
I'll say it again: Haley Reinhart is a white girl who sings like Big Mama Thornton. She's not ho-ish. If Pia Toscano, is elegant compared to her it is an unspoken Victorian set of values that are at work. Big Mama Thornton will never be as elegant as say Sarah McLaughlin if real world terms. So the ugly voice translates to, gosh she must be a ho. {Off of the dissecting America spiel}
Hey look, Jacob stood completely still and oversang yet another cliche song and the judges totally ate it up. That never gets old.
What are those worthless judges not eating up? And the one person they extend criticism to (Haley) didn't deserve it anymore than the others. And the criticism? Too "karaoke". Is there a more stupid comment than that for this show?! This show IS one big karaoke contest. Seriously, they're still eating up Paul and Scotty's schtick? What a shame Simon is not around.
It constantly amazes me that a lot of these kids don't have a clue as to what good songs are. I'm a big Haley fan, but she was probably the worst tonight, singing a Deborah Harry song is murder for her. The funny thing is that Jacob, the supposed gospel guy, has the most hatred in him.
