Forward Terrence Williams, 23, who has played in just 11 games with the Rockets and has been inactive for the past eight because of complications following surgery for lower abdominal distress, will not be available for the final three games of the season. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl...+--+NBA+Basketball)&utm_content=Google+Reader
It is a cleverly disguised conspiracy. The surgery is clearly a lie. There was no abdominal stress until he came to the Rockets. He was poisoned for refusing a D-league assignment to the Vipers! T-Will Fans Unite! Fire Adelman!
Where did that come from? It's too awesome of a nickname to be wasted on a dude who won't see the court in Rockets red ever again.
Shortly after we acquired him, in the game threads many posters were saying things like UNLEASH THE KRAKEN (T-Will) The Kraken is a Squid and Squid sounds better. And its funny.
He clearly has the skills and I would say the will to be a good/great player, but he can't/won't fit into Ricks system. Unless he can mold his game into someone like Bud with better passing, then it would be a waste of his talent. Now its not to say he doesn't need to work on some of his game .i.e jumpshot, and less iso plays and his attitude needs some tweaking.
It's too early to say this yet. He hasn't really been given a chance to learn and play in the system. He's a product of a late trade and a coach doing his darndest to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, if he would have been here from the beginning of training camp, he might have molded himself into a player. I'm not saying he's a fit or he's going to be a fit. I'm saying we really don't know at this point. And if he is traded, it will be because some other team valued him really highly and trades us a valuable player for him. He won't be dumped. That's not Morey's modus operandi.
This should explain everything. Spoiler <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7SqC_m3yUDU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
If MY ass was super-glued to the bench, I would also have "lower abdominal distress." Seriously, though, it's a shame that T-Will didn't take his little playing time more seriously. If he had (and if he hadn't gotten injured), I would have liked to see Terrence play some meaningful minutes these final 3 games. I sincerely hope that T-Will "gets it" next season, since he's got as much natural talent as anyone on the team. It would be nice to see if he can put it all together.
