The bright lights are still shining, but your feel out time is over. I've been cheering for you since you defeated the US in the 2001 Olympicaides, since the first articles detailing your skills were published, but this is the NBA - welcome to America.

Forget building your confidence, you need to become aggressive. Basketball is 90% about your mentality, especially if you post up. Rebounds, dunks, boxing out, and using your height and arm span to become a vertiable wall around the basket, that's your mission. You have to rebound HARD, dunk HARD, and push people around in the paint like they are rag dolls. USE your size. If you foul someone, that is fine.. but make sure THEY FEEL IT. You're the ****ing MAN, NBA #1 pick, start shoving that down people's throat. If you decide that you're not going to be stopped, how many people can really stop you?

You said before that you did not think that you would need weight training and that you're strong enough. Do you still think that? What happened to 20+ rebounds a game? How many times were you put on your ass? Its pretty hard when the people guarding you are stronger than you in the post. You get tired, FAST. Time to bulk up. Anyone can do it, look at Kobe. You are 300 lbs now and you think Cato is strong. Bulk up to 350 and even Shaq will be a little worried.

You are here to play basketball, not to do interviews, book signings, and interviews. Do that in the off season. You still don't understand the Rockets' game. You still have A LOT to improve. Get your ass in gear damnit.

I've been doing a lot of **** talking on the courts calling myself "Mini-Ming," dont' make me look bad :D

It's funny you make this assumption about Ming, and you don't even own a t.v. ;)

You started out pretty well though. :)

Am I the only one who finds it funny when somebody does one of those "I'm talking directly to you" posts. What the hell are the Olympicaides and when has China ever beaten the US at basketball??? I don't know what you're smoking dude, but it has really ****ed you up.

He was refering to the semi-final of Universal Collegiate Games (something like that, also known as little olympi games, since only "colleague students" cound attend) during summer 01. It was a close game and Yao swatted Melvin Ely's hook shot to half court with 2 seconds left to give China a 84-83 victory in the end.

Oh, forgot about that, when the Chinese team beat our college players. Still, the rest of his post was on crack.
