It’s shocking how bad some drivers are. There’s a show in Canada called Canada’s Worst Driver, which is the single best psa for wearing seatbelts ever. Its been a long time since I renewed and / or took a driver's license test in Texas but in most states there is a vision test that goes along with it and many will test night vision. If you can't pass that then you can't get a license.
Its actually a very complicated skill considering everything that goes into it we just take it for granted. The main problem though with being good at driving is the maintaining focus. Most accidents (not caused by equipment or road failures) seem to be failures of keeping focus on driving.
