Lets trade him. We don't need post players that draw double teams and plays one on one in this offense.

The Rockets are the epitome of a pardoxical team if there ever was one. As soon as we improve in one area, we suffer in another. After getting Ron Artest, Tracy McGrady was never the same. After a position of weakness for years in PF has been improved dramatically with Scola, Yao goes down. Now that we got our PG, SG, and PF down--all positions of weaknesses in previous years, the two positions: SF and C which were mainstays in this team are now points of weaknesses.

I agree. I think Lowry actually planned to set up an open lay up for Hayes who is underneath the basket but he realized Scola is wide open so he changed his mind.

it reminds me of the playoff serie vs jailblazers in the first round. scola kept making open jumps as jailblazers tried to stop yao by doubling him. scola is a very dependable mid range open jump shooter.

scola has more weapons than ppat, especially under the rim. ppat hasn't show any move that could put him into elite pf group. of coz, ppat show better defense awareness. different from alot fans here, i am in a group that believes scola defense is average instead below average.

The clip of Luis hitting the shot shows why the team is so much better without Brooks. Lowry penetrated and kicked it out to the open man to hit the shot - Brooks would've tried some type of circus shot on his own to try and win the game. How many close games would we have won had Brooks been looking to get others involved at the end of the game??

I agree with some of the other posters that we need a defensive wing player - and I hope that player is Shane Battier. He's a free agent next year, I'd love to resign the guy and have him be our lockdown defender (but I'm fine with him coming off the bench to do it). As for finding a center...Yao might be a nice backup, but we still need to find a legit starting center.
