A team looking to contend this year are not going to play a rookie like Dexter Pittman. Plus they're an 'up tempo' team, so they prefer to play a small line up.

With that said, I wouldn't mind singing Dexter Pittman. He has great size 6'11.5 / 7'6 wingspan, and can at the least clog the paint, and rebound. Plus his a hometown kid, he could become a very popular among fans.

That was my first thought too.

They should try to sign Olajuwon too. He's almost certainly in better shape than Curry, although admittedly he can't clog the paint quite as well.

Appropriate title, as inching is really the only way Eddy Curry moves nowadays.

You must have not watched any UT games because Pittman is just a fat****. Can't even stay on the floor for more than 5 minute stretches at a time because he has terrible conditioning.

350 pounds - my goodness - WOW!!! No wonder he keeps getting injured. How slow would he be? He might be the heaviest guy ever to play the NBA. I wonder if his "over wieight" problems have any connection to him being "over payed"

He should have enrolled in one of those celebrity weight loss TV shows.

...I believe Shaq got into the 370s at one point in his career. Also, let's not forget about Oliver "Pig" Miller who probably would have weighed as much if not more than Curry if he weren't giving up several inches to EC.

Probably as a counterweight to Shaq. Ever seen to Walruses slugging it out? It ain't gonna be pretty.

REJECTED. I doubt if he will ever have a role to play for an NBA team again unless he gets down to around 250 pounds.

I can see him being a solid bench warmer though. All that extra weight might add extra heat and warmth on the bench.
