I cannot wait for it to come out!!!! I pre-ordered the game like a month ago, and it comes out Nov 5 I believe for the systems, and Oct 29 I guess for the PC. The FIFA series is my favorite of all-time, better than Madden. I sure hope it's XBOX Live compatible...
dude, i couldnt agree more. im a FIFA fanatic and have been waiting to hear about 2003 for awhile. i still play 02 all the time, but im ready for some major improvements (like quicker/smarter goalies, quicker reaction times, and the removal of computer goals from 50 yards out - those are just frustrating). I do hope they keep the passing controls/system however - they take real skill, unlike 01. I also wanna check out the US' updated stats. man, im so excited! this is the ****!!!!
kidrock8, have you tried pro evolution soccer 2? in my humble opinion, it is simply unbeatable when it comes to soccer games. fifa 2003 might have even better graphics, but the gameplay in pro evolution soccer 2 is fantastic. there is nothing better. however, pro evolution soccer 2 does not exist on the xbox. that was the main reason i bought a playstation 2 and not an xbox.
i always liked international sup[erstar soccer, but that was on the supernintendo, and later on some other better computers i don't know if it stil excists. but i thought it was better than fifa
Good, Because Fifa World Cup SUCKED A$$....no season stats and Fifa 2002 had NO WORLD CUP.... EA suckered me into buying both...though Fifa 2002 was a great game. DD

Pro Evolution 2 is the successor to International Superstar Soccer, just a million times better - but the gameplay is derived from the basic ISS. Everyone who gets a chance, please try it, it really is by far the best game. I just bought it today and it blows you away.

That's the day of my b-day!! With that being said, where can you buy it in a store in the US? For CM 01/02, I had to order through SI Games, and I got my copy like 2-3 weeks after everyone else in Englad did. For Fifa 2003, they have changed the free kicking. Instead of that gay system they've had over the years, with taht arrow thing, you now place a cursor onto which part of the ball you want to kick (which will effect direction and spin) as well as as a power meter, like in Madden. So NOW, maybe freekicks can turn into goals for once?
