O'Neal may be out for opener

    Sorry if this has been posted, but it looks like J.O'Neal may be out for the opener. He got into a fight with Juwan Howard and is likely to get suspended. If that's true, the game is an absolute "MUST" for the Rockets. Reggie is definetely out, Artest hasn't played in the preseason and may be out too, so that's three starters out, perhaps their 3 best players in fact. If the Rockets don't start 2-0 (with Denver being game 2) I'll be really ticked.

    You're right. Well, with TMo on the IR we have a roster spot to sign his girlfriend on a 10-day contract just for the opener...

    O'Neil would not be defensing Yao Ming anyway. Maybe Griffin will go off with no one to defend him.
