Wow, Manu just clowned Jermaine O'Neal with that Euro-step at the end of the half.

Rondo is finally getting out of his slump, that was a nice block by Lebron's father in law by the way

They keep leaving him wide open, like a mile radius open.

That's exactly what they did. Rondo was constantly open outside the paint and stopped shooting because he couldn't make anything.

just give the west to the lakers already. they're peaking at the right time, and kobe isn't even dominant. this team is too damn deep and good.

Kobe is so overrated it's not even funny. He could sit the whole season and they wouldn't skip a beat. They get better when he sits out because they actually feed the bigs. Gasol is pretty much an automatic 2 points unless he's doubled. Kobe.. not so much (unless Joey is there to give him 20FTs).

let's not go on hater mode. kobe has been a top 5-6 player this year. respect his game.

you may hate on the kobe that goodbug talks about (the GOAT), but the real kobe is pretty damn great.

Pretty pathetic finish for the Mavs. It shows you again that the Lakers are just so much better than the rest of the West.

He's a top player, sure, but the team would do fine without him. Same type of player as Carmello... a chucker who takes a lot of shots at low-percentage. But in a way it's worse because he has much better options on his team than Carmello ever did. The one thing Kobe has got going for him is that he barely ever gets injured. If he did, you'd see that the Lakers don't skip a beat without him (as has been proved whenever he does sit out).

How? He's not making presumptuous statements, his numbers are great (with acceptable percentages), and whatever credit he get's is mainly based on his previous achievements. He's got no chance at the MVP award...No one's proclaiming that he's the best in the game right now...

so WHY is he SOOOOOO overrated?

He's overrated because people actually think he's in the discussion with the all-time greats, despite basically being a sidekick his whole career. The media force-feeds his highlights down our throats so casual fans actually think he is a closer when putting up 1-6, 2-10 stretch performances etc (seriously, listen to Kevin Harlan's "BEST CLOSER IN THE GAME!!!" BS calls sometime). Anyone who seriously follows the NBA knows that the reason the Lakers are dangerous is because of their bigs, not Kobe, which is why they don't suffer when he sits out and why their +/- numbers are awesome without him (contrast to any other "superstar"). He is a good player who will go down as a legend because of his longevity, but he has never even been the best player in the NBA and has ridden stacked teams to titles his whole career. He also happens to be a whiny b**** who cried the three years he actually had normal talent on his team (welcome to TMac/VC/AI land).
