Wall needs to get sand out of his p***y, that happens in basketball all the time.

Howard seems to always escalate the situation. Maybe next time he should refrain from "helping."

I don't get the reference at all. For one, Iverson was an NBA great. Second, I don't really see many similarities. Wall looks to set up teamates a lot more than Iverson ever did.

Anyway, if you're implying this guy's going to be a bust you are sorely mistaken.

    Rookies Comparisons:
    Chris Paul: 16.1ppg, 7.9apg, 2.2spg, 5.1rpg, 2.4tos, 43%FG, 28%3P,
    Derrick Rose: 16.8ppg, 6.3apg, 0.8spg, 3.9rpg, 2.5tos, 48%FG, 22%3P
    John Wall: 16.0ppg, 8.6apg, 1.8spg, 4.5rpg, 3.8tos, 41%FG, 29%3P

I think these two guys are pretty much his floor. I fully expect his shot to develop much like Rose and Paul, as he already has good form.

Some people on this board just type and make comparisons for the hell of it. In what way will John Wall be the next Allen Iverson in 5 or 6 years? Their game is nothing alike and if you mean off the court I haven't heard anything about John Wall that suggest he has alcohol problems or gambling problems.

Wall had no business bodying up on Z like that in the first place. Looked like he was trying to draw a foul the way he was going at it. I don't think you can expect anything but getting cleared out with an elbow. It's ridiculous that he'd get upset about it when it was his own damn fault. Considering, I think Z was the picture of restraint after getting punched in the ribs for no reason.

Predictions: Z's ejection is rescinded. Wall gets suspended 2 games (automatic one for throwing a punch, plus one more since it was uncalled for). Juwan Howard's infraction is ignored even though he should probably lose a game for escalating.

Bynum tackles a player mid air, 2 game suspension.

Wall throws a weak jab, multiple game suspension because it looks bad for the league.

And what is Howard doing? He is always escalating the problem, every single time.

Smart move by Z and Howard if this was intentional, Wall is thw wizard's primary player, without him they have zero chance of anything. Don't understand how that warranted an ejection though.

yeah, he gets a lot of hate on here, but he's one of the few guys who will always stand up for his current teammates...however, i think this time i he overreacted. I think from his angle it looked like Mcgee went after Z, which i thought at first also, but looking at the angle from the replay, Mcgee was just trying to separate them.

That happens all the time. Hardly an elbow, more of a nudge. Unfortunately for Wall, Z is just bigger and reaches his head. That video you posted of Shaq is not the same thing at all. Shaq is making moves there, he's using his strength AND momentum to clear people out. He's also clearly reaching his elbows out further than Z ever did. The difference is Z is trying to protect his area, while shaq is trying to move into new area by moving people out.

You guys see Yi and McGee in there ? Wizards. Yi is huge.. at least 7'1 cuz he's not much shorter than Big Z.. Would healthy Yao intervene next season if Lowry were to get into a scuffle with a giant on the opposing team? One thing tells me that the Wizards love to have 7fters regardless if they are good or not..
