Sorry to hear that. This is serious. Don't worry about getting back on the court. Worry about getting your vision back somehow. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

If Margarito didn't get blinded from breaking an eye socket, there's no way you'll be permanently blinded from an errant pass. Best of luck man.

Sorry that had to happen to you man. Right now you should be focused on letting it heal and treating it man. Good luck! Hope your vision gets better and comes back!

It's that minority blindness you got to worry about. Listening to raps and shooting all the jobs.

People are just busting his balls. If he can still be positive and still think about playing the game he loves, that's a great attitude. People can learn from this.

he seems to be serious since he already said his depth perception is messed up.

Only binocular cue, really sucks dude. But I agree with the other posters, get a second opion.

I have a friend who got an arrow shot into his eye from the renessaince festival, his eyesight in that eye was bad but got a lot better through operations.

It seems to be mechanical damage, I don't understand what the problem is considering your retina is probably intact, and highly doubt that it was damage to your optic nerve.

I gotta admit, this is what I was expecting. I hovered my mouse over the thread on the forum to see if it was one of those lame posts.

As for the OP. Sorry to hear that. Forget basketball, get a second opinion. vision is most important.

    Moonsh0t...lol wtf.
