    Here are some facts..

Heat are the stingiest interior defensive team in the NBA in terms of field goal percentage allowed.

    Some more info:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/

In his last seven games, Bosh has tallied six double-doubles. The one game he didn’t reach a double-double? He scored 24 points and nine rebounds against the trees of the Lakers frontline. All in all, since Bosh insisted on being more aggressive, he is averaging 21.3 points and 10.5 rebounds on 54 percent shooting.

Bosh belongs to a group of 48 players who have made 150 or more isolation plays this season. Bosh has earned a trip to the free throw line on 23 percent of his attacks and among those 48 players, only two players have frequented the charity stripe more: Kevin Martin and Chauncey Billups. In fact, Bosh is the only big man in the top 20 in the free throw category. Overall, Bosh ranks as the sixth most effective isolation player in the NBA, primarily because he can draw the whistle so effortlessly.

“He’s aggressive and he’s not afraid of contact,” Spoelstra said. “He will go into a crowd with his eyes on the rim to draw fouls. These last few games with that emphasis has changed his offense.”

When a player makes a public vow to change his game, rarely does he actually follow through on the court. But Bosh has certainly walked the walk. With a nudge from Spoelstra, Bosh’s jumpers are down, his rebounds are up, and it’s no coincidence that the Heat offense is thriving.

Also, is this the NBA Dish forum where you can post about anything in the NBA, or as flamingdts would like, we can shut down the NBA dish forum, as it doesn't include anything about the rockets.

    Cool story bro.

(In all seriousness though, his new attitude shift has certainly been a positive one, and it has reflected in his play, and the Heat have definitely benefitted.)

I was completely unaware of the fact that you had the authority to shut down forums within the BBS. When did you gain this power?

Why do you act surprised that people don't like the Superfriends? And why is criticizing them not allowed? Like I said, if you're so bothered by the lack of love your Heat are getting, you're welcome to not post here. Take your talents to RealCavsFans or something....

If people come and post lies about how Bosh is bad defensive player, Bosh has played pretty bad this year, and Patterson from the Rockets is better, of course I will post about how they are wrong, and post facts to prove otherwise.

Same as people bag Lebron, saying he has no post game or has no mid range game, I will post how they are wrong with facts(Articles and facts have been posted on both of those) to show people they are wrong.

I must admit, Octavianus. As a Lebron/Wade/Bosh nut-hugger and a troll, you are incredibly dedicated. I respect your dedication, and therefore show you the light. I will tell you of places where all your fellow Heat bandwagoners reside. You can go there and bask in the glory that is Superfriends.

And there, you shall find where you truly belong.

You are getting really really desperate aren't you?

I just specifically showed you why people are irritated with you, yet you still somehow think it's merely because you're a big time Miami fan.

You literally just completely ignored my previous post, because obviously you can't face the truth.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have the perfect delusional Miami fan boy. Let's see where he got the idea that Patterson is better than Bosh from shall we?

As you can all see, the insecure Miami fan boy jumps to Chris Bosh's defense. The moment somebody mentions "Patterson dunks on Bosh", he immediately takes that as "Patterson is better than Bosh", and like a classic fanboy, he jumps to protect his favorite player.

And here is a stat for you.

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/holl...spn.go.com/nba/hollinger/rankings?position=pf

Bosh is ranked 12th in per, and suffered quite a significant drop from last season (as expected). His productivity took a huge dip. Take your fan boy glasses off and realize bosh is not the player he was last season.

And let me just add he was ranked 12 in per amongst PF.

So yes, Chris Bosh barely being a top 10 PF is a very reasonable statement.

Octy the Official Spin Doctor opens himself up to getting clowned too easily. He somehow found a way to twist "hope patterson dunks on bosh" to PPat being better than Bosh? That's hilarious.

Has he found the posts that prove his claims that "'Dragic is the next Steve Nash' and Hasheem is the next Hakeem'" in his previous sig yet?

I will say this, Bosh is not a terrible guy. I think the biggest thing killing him right now is he's a finesse forward that is struggling in a huge way to find his place on a team with two of the greatest scorers in the game. They need a Dennis Rodman, a guy that does everything for you and doesn't care about scoring. Unfortunately, Bosh hasn't yet shown a real passion for rebounding or defense. I'm really surprised that his blocks and rebounds have managed to drop this year.

12 games with 5 boards or less
