This is bad. I wanted the Suns and the Rockets to make the playoffs.

Yeah, but he hit one 3 so he's the BEST CLOSER IN THE GAME TODAY!

    clippy's wingman strikes again... SMH.

Did you see the 3-ball he dropped down the stretch in the 3rd OT, or maybe the floater he nailed to put the Lakers up by 4 with under a minute left?

He went for 42, 12, and 9 in a 3 OT victory... take your tears over to the Suns board.

Grant Hill fouling out on a VERY QUESTIONABLE foul call was the game changer. Shame that the game had to be decided like that, but what else can you expect when the Lakers are playing?

Anyways, this tells you a lot about the Lakers, choking away a 21 point lead but were able to win it in overtime.

If they lost this would have been my favorite Laker loss behind when they choked away the 24 point lead in the 08 finals

Faker rider/ Kobe rider strikes again

He was so inefficient in the overtimes and if he wasn't so selfish in the 1st OT and the 2nd OT they could have won it their

Yep, and the Lakers should be worn out too.

I don't want the Suns to beat the Rockets or Grizz for 8th seed, but I just could not root for the Lakers.

He shot awful in the OTs, and made one big shot (the 3) and took another TERRIBLE one (the floater) that could have cost his team the game since all he had to do was hold onto the ball. That is just bad basketball.

The problem with casual fans like yourself is that you don't understand that every shot in the game is important and when you shoot poorly only to make a big shot (aka "hero ball") that is not good. Now that said, Kobe had a very good game, but his performance in the "clutch" was bad.

I think it's hilariously funny that kobe will still be remembered for being clutch when he did that hanging jumper to close the game.

Any you know what, i think he deserves it. I honestly believe that Lebron is more clutch than kobe considering kobe has missed more gamewinners than any superstar in the league combined but give the guy props. He makes clutch plays when the whole world is watching unlike Lebron where he bricks layups on national television.

The Lakers were getting away with a lot of hacking at the end of the OTs. I think at the end of 2OT Kobe fouled the **** out of Hill ("good ball denial") but I guess the refs can't make that call in David Stern's house.

I absolutely despise the Lakers, but these obsessive trolls that criticize Kobe's every move are just down right pathetic.

He clearly struggled in the first 2 OTs, but he had a strong overall game. Give respect where respect is due.

Kind of bad coaching, if you ask me. Why did Brooks not get PT down the stretch? When you need a bucket with only a few seconds, I can't think of more guys I'd want than Brooks. Is there some rule that says you have to play your starters in OT or something? Gentry is just as bad as he was when he was on the Clippers, but he at least has Nash to run the show this time.

Artest won the game, clutch 3 earlier in OT important steal and that crazy one legged jumper. He outplayed Kobe in OT

Grant Hill is a smart veteran, but he played stupid defense there. What the hell was he doing kung fu swiping with 5 fouls and the game on the line? It's like he lost his mind and wanted to become a defensive stopper all of a sudden. While the block call wasn't great, those calls are bang/bang and happen all the time.

I had a feeling when Hill fouled out and Gentry was forced to sub in Carter--all chances of winning evaporated for the Suns.
