I mean it, I am tired of reading the Rockets brass saying they are young.

I call Bull-Hockey they are not that young....they have a good portion of the team in their primes....Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Mo Taylor, Kenny Thomas...etc..etc..

All of them have been in the league for at least 3 years.

The excuse of being young is tired and weak....How old is Kobe Bryant?

How did Hakeem do his rookie year.

    Forget the excuses, it is TIME...TIME TIME....to WIN...WIN...WIN !!!

    Nothing else will be accpeted.

Check your excuses at the door.

    GO ROCKETS !!!

They are also all over 25 so they can not use age either. hell I look at Baron Davis (23) Mike Bibby (24), they have about the same amount of experiece, they are a year or two younger, and they have gotten there.

Before you come up on me with that "its only a year or two" BS, tell me what a difference a year or two made in Dream of 99-00 and 01-02!!

We want results ! ! ! Good luck Rockets!

The only negative of living in Austin- non stop Spurs coverage. I get the chills everytime I see a Taco Cabana.
The Rockets have something to prove this year no doubt. We need to find our rhythm early in the season and keep our confidence throughout the entire year.

I agree to a certain extent, but I would be thankful if you could be somewhat moderate in bashing the Rockets when they lose - because it will happen once in a while, eventually.

Me? Bash the Rockets when they lose? ME?

    ;)

True, I do get on them a bit, but that is only because I love em so much.

This team has had time to mature, and I keep reading where this year they are finally "ALL ABOUT WINNING" and not about stats.

If this is true, then I will not have to come here and post my frustrations very often, as selfish play is what bothers me the most.

I think the Rockets have what it takes and can win a large portion of their games.

The time is now...no more excuses, come strong, or don't come at all.

Hasn't Rockets management predicted the Rocks to go to the playoffs this year? I still feel the Rockets would have made the playoffs last year if not for injuries. This year's team will probably win abut 50 games, and get a 5 or 6 seed.

Isn't that what bad husbands generally say to their wives after beating them? "I do it because I love you!"

    Hakeem Rookie year
    games played 82
    min/g 35.54
    FG% 53.82
    FT% 61.34
    3PT% 0
    FOULS 344
    DQ 10
    REB/G 11.88
    AST/G 1.35
    STL/G 1.21
    BLK/G 2.68
    TO/G 2.85

I think Ming will be better than hakeem in ft%, 3pt%, AST, but fall short in ppg, DQ, STL

    WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK
