    I can't believe the referee did that. The player called the timeout before he got to five. You can see his counting motion. Terrible...

    Who would be a viable, available replacement? It would have to be someone who can recruit and coach the one-and-out players to a title.

    The Bulter coach? How about Billy Donovan?

    I don't follow either school, I just think that the players deserved a fair finish. That was a crummy way to end a season.

    Have you ever explained why you are so obsessed with the University of Texas? You go out of your way to find chances to rag on The University of Texas and constantly call them overrated. By "them" I of course mean The University of Texas. I bet you spend more of your time commenting on The University of Texas than you do on Rice. You even called the 05 Championship team from The University of Texas overrated during the season. So why so obsessed?

    Looking at the videos posted on here, I think the five second call was a bad call. But I think it makes up for the fact that Texas took the lead on two bad foul calls against Natyazhko and Perry in the last few minutes.

    He calls the violation just as he begins extending his arm for the fifth count. That's 4 1/2 seconds, not 5.

    Texas is too soft and seems to always Nutt Up in big games......R.Barnes is a overatted coach and needs to be replaced......if he didnt have the talent he is often given every year his teams would be turrible,just turrible (in my best C. Barkley imitation!!). get a guy with fire and passion like patino and watch Texas excel almost instantly.....IT IS WRITTEN.

    Yes! They should have used it way earlier in that five-second count. You can't let it get that close to five seconds and try to call it at the last second becuase you run the risk of getting the 5-second call
