    If good management brings in the right combo of good players...thinking big picture, good management does always win! Gotta love the Shaner. Already miss him, but happy to see these fired up Rockets.

    LOL they did get Gasol for Gasol so it wasn't NOTHING. Although it was definitely a crappy trade (some would say RIGGED). Anyway, I didn't mean that statement towards the Shaner's current team. I'm talking about actual good management.

    If he decides to stay around basketball, I can see Shane becoming a general manager after he retires.

    Ugghhh. I want to respond to one of those comments under that video so bad. Guy claiming the rebuild for OKC was quick. No. It wasn't. The Sonics sucked for a LONG time after the Payton/Kemp era and only became relevant again after they were able to draft Durant.

    As for everything Battier said - I'll miss watching interviews with him after nearly every game. One of the best interviews in the league.

    wouldn't it be hilarious if we end up with the 8th seed this year and knock memphis out of the playoff picture, all after the battier for thabeet trade?
