Hey fellas, I need some info. My Uncle and cousin are going to their first ever Rockets game tonight and need some advice on parking. Where to park, how much it'll cost etc. I've been stuck in DFW for most of the decade so I couldn't answer their questions and I thought I'd get some help from y'all. Where do y'all normally park and how much does it cost? Thanks
I usually get to the game early and drive around a little bit to see if I can catch someone coming out of the metered parking and park for free. But if that doesnt happen I park in the garage at San Jacinto and Dallas right across from the House of Blues. They charge 10.00 for parking.
If I get there early enough, I try to find a metered spot and park for free. If I can't get a metered spot then I park in. The lot at Hamilton and ??? not sure on the cross street, but it runs along the side of Toyota Center and is on the opposite side of the Toyota Center parking garage. It's a 2 block walk, easy exit from the lot and entrance onto 59, only $7 and the closest Toyota Center entrance isn't the main one, so it's never crowded. Pugs
Whatever yo u do, do not park under a tree. I was a STH for a long time. Now live in colorado. I always parked on the street at Clay and Fannin. The TYC side of the street on Fannin (SW corner) has free parking that many people overlook, because the signs are so threatening. But it is legal. Read them closely. If I were still a STH, I'd never tell you these secrets 4-5 spots. Also there is public parker on that corner too, if you can't find free street parking. It's $5 as I recall. A simple 4 block walk from there. Remember...do not park under a tree.
Guess I'm not going to be parking tonight. GF's sister just went into labor...ugh! I knew it was going to be on a game night! Tickets down the drain... Pugs
Park in the parking garage at the corner of Walker and La Branch...it is 5 bucks and not that far. See location at the address below. http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=ny...____&where1=Toyota Center, TX&q=toyota center
paying for parking is for suckers. park on the street. I park by the ATT building. Sometimes, I tailgate. Yeah, true.
