I use both for checking the BBS and the Rockets chat. There now it's pertinent... I like my G4 for creative stuff, graphics, web etc.. I like my Dell for business stuff. Actually Windows XP pro and Advanced server 2000 have been very reliable, i.e. Mac-like...
enough of this computer nonsense....does anyone know if the game is going to be on this link. they are just giving news updates. im getting anxious.
well, thanks for the link. Wish i could watch it, but listening is alright. Don't want to be too greedy to lose that too.
i dont know rsl5181 i am not sure, i am doing the same. I hope it comes up. will have to wait to see (hear) I guess.
I sticky'd this thread so we wouldn't have a million threads asking "where can I listen to the game tonight"? Instead I get a thread that has a nerd war about G4's vs. PC's. I don't think Jeff was joking around when he said take it to the BBS Forum guys, so flippant remarks in response to his request probably aren't a good idea. What's worse is that I see so many "Senior Members" involved in this... it's hard enough trying to stop duplicate posts from happening in this forum, but then we have people pushing them towards the top with their ridiculing of the poster. Pretty soon, posts such as heech's and windandsea's sina.com article translations get pushed to "page 2". Those are articles and takes you will not find in the US, yet they get shoved down by silly stuff like a computer war or "hey newbie, stop it" responses. Now for anyone trying to listen to this game over the Internet : http://207.230.150.186/main.html (this is a link from www.woai.com - thanks ron413) I hope their server doesn't get swamped. Also, we will be in chat tonight and if we're lucky, someone such as AntiSonic or rockHEAD will be able to provide play-by-play online... you can use the online chat or download mIRC or some similar client to connect to chat.
