    Or the Big East tournament. Basketball is hard to officiate, period.

    Bro give me proof of that. Last time I heard about that issue, the refs called it out and the whole NBA made fun of Lebron. I never heard anything about the league changing rules to accomodate the crab dribble, in fact i heard the opposite.

    If you've been to China lately, you know how much aggressive marketing the NBA is doing over there. For many young people, basketball has replaced soccer as the No. 1 sport. This is ludicrous for a country that only plays ping-pond and badminton a generation ago.

    Of course Yao played a huge factor. But Kobe Bryant is now by far the most popular NBA star or even the most popular athlete in China. He gets treated like Mahatma Gandhi there. A lot of this is to the credit of NBA marketing. The rest of the credit goes to Chinese stupidity.

    The NBA is also actively expanding in India right now. Let's see how that goes.
