Just got back from a Texas Tech Scholarship lunch at Union Station. It was fun seeing our Chancellor, and Coach talk about the upcoming season. It was also nice seeing Union Station covered in Texas Tech gear.

According to Scouts and Rivals, we have the 18th offensive recruiting class in the nation and are #1 in the nation in RB recruiting. Good stuff considering Tubs in typically a defensive coach. We also just hired someone from TCU as our new DC.

It might just be a fun year.

 

I don't think that's correct. Our (TTU) 2011 recruiting class is ranked 19th overall on Rivals --- that's offense AND defense.

There's also no way that we are #1 in RB recruiting -- the best RB we got is an average 4 star. Texas, for instance, landed Malcolm Brown -- a 5 star. Yeah, I just looked -- Tech is ranked as having the 15th best RB class.

 

Where did you see that? Are you talking about us having the 15th best Running Back in Kenny Williams?

We may have received that designation because we had one 3 star and 2 four star RB's commit to Tech.

Looks like someone is still a little upset that their basketball team just got handed 63-49 at their house. It was also fun watching your team lose at Reliant stadium this year as well.

 

Perhaps we should make it three votes...

 

Looks like someone mad cause they still 14 games behind in football and their baseball team is that joke that finally showed up to play again in 2006. Just remember that no matter what happens in sports SFgAy still light years behind in anything actually educational with Sam. In fact, since SW TX St. decided to go WAC, Sam has been in talks with the Sun Belt to leave your sad ass school behind in FCS. Only reason I didn't even metion it is b/c I actually disagree with that move, I want Sam to stay in Southland. Now that Sam and SFA are tied 92-92 all-time in basketball there is something to actually play for since we have dominated you guys in every sport other than basketball which we are tied at.
BTW, you actually enjoyed watching SFgAy beat Sam in Reliant when they were ranked #2 in FCS and barely won by 3 to a team not ranked. Good for you cause I really enjoyed listening to Villanova whip y'all by 30 in the 1st round in your own stadium in NacagHOches, when y'all had a first seed. Way to make the Southland look weak!
And I also enjoyed watching Sam whip SFgAy in the Southland Conference championship just last season at Merrill Center in Katy, 64-48! Hope you enjoyed your loss to SW TX St. last night, now we not only tied all-time, we tied in conference right now, 3-4. See you in NacaHOches on march 2nd

 

Ok Cuntsville Cat, I am glad you are living in the past with last years win. The present is what counts and the present says SFA owns your ass. I like how you make up rankings in your little story, I know you have no reason to look at them but SFA was #4 in the polls when they played and the overall #4 seed in the playoffs. Yes they got killed by 30 which sucks and we were all down about that, but SFA was there and you were not. Glad you tuned into the game and I am sure the Keystones you were drinking probably tasted a little better.

 

As an aside, I get really annoyed when people do this. This is Ohio State's thing and was popularized by their players. Stop trying to mold it to fit your school. And I in no way care about OSU.

 

I'm kinda suprised by the results I thought tech would be alot higher from reading this board for a few years. I guess they just have some of the loudest haters......

So the present is what counts? Lost by 15 on your own floor in front of 5,000+ Nachadohicks last week, then today get beat in the conference championship by 16! Who owns who now?
Sorry I got the poll wrong by 2 spots, I could have sworn they were #2 at the time they played, not that big a difference really. And Keystones?! Come on now, maybe if I was from Hunsville but I'm Houston born and raised I know better than that. But my dodo does taste better tonight knowing we got a 94-92 lead all-time against the Jacks and moving on to the second round tomorrow to play UTSA in Katy cause were still here and you are not. Eat 'em up!
