Sheesh that's crazy. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uLXB4T12qyQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I would expect people to go for covers but they are more worried about their merchandises crashing but I guessed they might be use to it. That building must be a bit earthquake proof since I expect a lot worst.
yeah, i feel bad for having a slight urge to post a picture of Godzilla when reading about the power plant situation. I never get over watching those videos of water just engulfing everything in its path...it's just incredible.

Just...wow. I'm stuck at work and haven't been able to see this on TV yet. I'm almost kind of scared to see it.
here's a bigger version of the photo i linked above: for those of you who know the bay area, shot is taken from the eastern end of the bay bridge, looking towards treasure island. for those that don't, this is inside SF Bay, looking west towards SF, which is about 4 miles away. the bridge in the middle is the eastern half of the bay bridge. the "hump" of land you see is Treasure Island. the hills in the distance are SF, and the pacific is on the other side of those hills.
video from the same spot. remember, the wave had to pass through the golden gate first- this is deep inside the bay. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="853" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jdMDCLwblkY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
