I kind of get a Signs feel to it. They will probably not show the alien until close to the end and build up to it while developing the characters around the story.
Funny you mention that...I thought the trailer gave it a feeling of an M. Night Shyamalan movie. Curious about it though. When ET tries to punch through the wall of a train, I'm definitely curious.

Seems like a pretty emotional and intense trailer......then we get a random camera focus on some chick's nice ass....why?
Better not turn out into some War of the Worlds bull poop. I'm a bit skeptical of Spielberg's involvement in this.
yeah that was terrible and definitely out of place in this trailer. the part where the black guy says "GO" i thought that was an alien since the scene was so quick in the trailer. :grin:
Elle Fanning, liked her in Somewhere. Trailer doesn't make me want to run out and see it, but still looks good.
It's gotta be for a reason. It looked like whoever the nice ass was was walking through a scene of carnage and mayhem, but the chick was calm, collected and flauting her wares. Either she's somehow alien or being controlled by one, is my guess.
