IMO - I think once the unions are broken . . look for the schools to be privatized.
They been trying for years. . . looks like they have the leverage to do it now.

What will be the next Government run service to get this treatment?

Some may think the Mail . . but I don't think it will be overly profitable

    I vote WATER!

I think they have semi done it . . in that the water sucks and is nearly undrinkable out of the faucet.
next will be to bring in Brita/Aquafina/etc to run the whole system
    for a fee of course.
Incredible amount of profit potential there.
I know selling the bottles is one thing . . but running a whole city's water
would probably take that money to another level.

Isn't Michigan doing something where the Governor can declare a city to be in a financial emergency, appoint and individual (or even a corporations) who can go into the city and get rid of all elected officials and run it as they see fit? The way I've heard it, corporations could potentially be in charge of cities in Michigan.

If space exploration is being privatized, anything is fair game.....except for the military.

Postal Service would be my guess. Although some might say that's already privatized (FedEX, UPS and what not).

I'm all for it and think it's inevitable. Will take a while but the USPS is becoming more irrelevant every year.
