You have to give Utah some props

    I hate Utah as the next person and this thread was gonna be about Al Jefferson returning into beast mode. But after thinking how they got Jefferson is pretty impressive what they done. The Cavs and Raptors lost their franchise players and got really nothing useful but the big trade exception and a couple draft picks. All Utah lost was Boozer, but he isn't what you call a franchise player and long story short they turned their exception to Jefferson who in recent games have returned to form from before he hurt his acl. Then they sneaked in the back alley like a hooker and got the deal the Nuggets wanted from the Nets for Williams which imo has the greater upside then the Knicks deal the Nuggets got because of Favors and the Nets pick which could possibly be the 1st pick in the draft.

    Sad how rockets fans are so negatively obsessed with Utah and they don't even consider us a top 5 rival.

    Good for Al Jefferson. He'll be putting up good numbers on a bad team again and worse...in Utah :p

    And no...I do not and will not give Utah props.

    true..this rivalry kinda died 3 years ago..now that they have an entire new squad and coach..it just isn't interesting anymore..Portland has taken the Utah spot..lets all hate Portland..

    im impressed with how they shipped out deron williams for making a good coach like sloan resign. that's really ballsy.

    that's a good move. dwill was a free agent anyways, and they got a good PG and a young player with upside.

    No need to hate Portland. If I recall correctly, we've beaten them in the playoffs every time we've played them.

    It was only a rivalry if the other team acknowledged it...Utah basically been laughing at us since the Karl Malone era...

    I give nothing to Utah but will shat on their legacy. Props for running their coach out of town and trading two of their best players.. Wonder how long they'll even keep the existing coach, silly mormonites.

    P.s. I pity Jefferson. He finally got off the Pups and went to a good team only to watch it turn to crap. Must be rough.
