    After starting a very successful chapter in Texas' capital city, I felt I could safely leave Major, Drewdog, TheFreak, JBIIRockets, RocketsPimp, DaDakota, and DVauthrin knowing that they could get along without me.

    I've now decided to tackle the DFW area.

    Dr. of Dunk, Raven Lunatic, cheivous minniefield, deepellumrocket, nWo, and mrspur, er, mrpaige, and anyone else I'm obviously missing, you're all summoned for beer and basketball. Let's show these bandwagon Mavericks' fans what real fans are.

    However, since I'm new to the area, I'm going to need some help picking a place. I'm in the Knox/Henderson area, but can travel anywhere. I'm proposing opening night as the date.

    I can't help you with the place, as I have never gone out to a bar or anything to watch Rockets games here in Dallas...but I will definitely be there wherever we go.

    What part of town are you in? I've been going to a couple of places to watch the Texans that seem to be pretty cool. High on my list is Wizards at Spring Valley/75.

    The waitresses dress up like schoolgirls. Sweet.

    I'm in North Dallas in Plano. I have been to Wizards a few times, and I really liked it...although I don't remember seeing the waitresses dressed up like schoolgirls. If this is true, SIGN ME UP.

    Damn RM95 I will be out of town thru the 4th of Nov. otherwise I would love to go. Even so, maybe all of us D/FW folks could make this a week or monthly thing, if others are interested in doing so. I live up in Frisco/McKinney area, so anything off 75 is cool for me.

    Well, I'm up for it! Usually the Greenville area has bars, clubs, and restaurants. The only type of sports bar on Greenville is Humperdinks. Anyone else know of any sports bars around the 75 S area? It would be tight if we could meet up for the majority of the games. I can't stand watching the crappy Mavericks. :mad:

    There's no way I can make opening night, but I'm up for future games despite the fact Rocketman95 is a mean person who makes fun of me for no reason. :( *sniffle*

    Anyway, let me know if you guys do something in the future...

    Oh, I've never been to Wizards, but have always heard that it was for old farts so... *ahem*.

    DOD, where you live in Dallas? I'm not familiar w/ the sports bars around Dallas, but it would be nice to find one that has NBA League Pass and make it a Rockets hangout. That's if we don't get kicked out by the sorry a$$ Mavs fans...:mad: :mad:

    I go to Frankies a lot, it's not that great.

    DoD, sorry for my utterly rude comment. Do you want me to start a thread to apologize? :) We'll be doing this a lot I think, so you'll definitely have to make it out to the next one.
