What can I say? Another classic Foo Fighter effort. I just got this and from the few tracks I have heard, I like a lot!

If you like the Foo, then this is for you.

Monkey Wrench was a lot more fun to play on guitar.

The Foo Fighters are easily my favorite band, and I was really really looking forward to their new CD. All in all, I'm a little dissapointed, but I'm kinda spoiled by There is Nothing Left to Lose, which was easily my favorite Foo CD. (Or any CD, for that matter.)

This CD is pretty great though in it's own right, although some of the songs are a little too mellow.

    My favorite tracks so far:

(Wait, I just started listing my favorites and I realized that I really love most of these songs on here already. However, the songs "Low", "Disenchanted Lullaby" and "Come Back" didn't really tickle my fancy, at least not yet.)

I only got this CD a couple hours ago, and traditionally music grows on me the more I hear it, so I expect this to really get up there on my list of favorite Foos.

    Right now it's:

    1) There Is Nothing Left To Lose - 3rd CD, just awesome
    2) (Self Titled) - First CD, established the badass that is Foo
    3) The Colour And The Shape - 2nd CD, Didn't like it, then liked it, then loved it to death
    4) One by One - I see it pulling the same deal as 3...

I'd recommend this CD to anyone, Foo fans or not though! They can do no wrong in my eyes. And only 12 bucks at Soundwaves! Very cheap for a brand new CD on it's first day of release, and like rockhead said, with a bonus DVD!

"Monkey Wrench" is the 2nd track on "The Colour and the Shape" which also has "Everlong" and my favorite FF song, "My Hero".

I like some of their wierd soundtrack songs and B-sides. "Walking After You" which was on the X-Files (the movie) soundtrack is great and their cover of "Baker Street" is killer. :)

I heard that there is a "DVD" type playability with it. Can someone with the CD explain what it is. Probably just music video's and what not?

I can't wait till I buy it myself this weekend though.

I like those a lot. Have you heard their cover of "Down in the Park" by Gary Numan? Great song.
