Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - we don't have game... so if we rest him tomorrow, that will give him 4 days to rest... We should give him rest. I will say that start Patterson along with Hayes. Bring Hill and Miller combo off the bench.
Given our light schedule, missing one game would give him 4 days off, so it might be for the best. If scola is gonna sit, the rockets are gonna have to force him to. If that man can walk he wants to play ball, it's my favorite quality of his. He's a true basketball warrior, unlike some of the other drama queens who get the attenton (iverson wade and pierce i'm lookin at you)
Iverson defined warrior during his glory days in Philly. He battled through an absurd amount of injuries to avg. close to 30 PPG and lead the 76ers to the Finals. He may have been a drama queen, especially after the "Practice" rant, but his heart rivals that of Scola.
If Scola does miss the game, starting Patterson would give the team a PF that can still knock down open jumpers while adding even more activity on the defensive end. It would be interesting to see how the team plays with that sort of lineup. Still, I think Scola's going to play, and if he doesn't, I think Miller's going to get the start along side Chuck.
good, than we can play scola off the bench for 10-15 minutes. let the man rest when was the last time he didnt play?
Give Scola a break and let the league find out how Good PP and JH really are, get a win tonight, then when we play Phoenix again, play Scola and beat them down again!
i hope they do this...we need him in this game and his injury doesn't sound serious enough for him to sit out. limited minutes is the most balanced approach
Rest Scola rest, you dont want to become another Brandon Roy.....coming back and play injured just to cause more problems down the road.
Iverson??? It was well-documented in his career that he played through an obscene amount of injuries. The guy was an absolute warrior when it came to playing through pain.
Knowing Scola..You know he will play. I hope the medical staff makes the right decision. If hes hurt...no PT.
