cause they're freaking morons. they were going to sign scola too. they are in love with 30 yr old bball players when they should try to build through young talent. They did right by the Dwill trade, but I think they lose him this offseason and then JayZ raps about it on his next album.

one more thing (excuse the double post)

I think morey needs to lock up Lee and Dragic ASAP. we need to keep that backcourt together. its become the driving force behind our success.

The Shane Battier trade was the best thing that's ever happened to this organization. Keep up the great work Lee! I can't wait till we face the Next Elite SG, Wanna see Lee shut his ass down!

Bud is playing better D. He still turns his head and gets beat back-door, and sometimes his lateral quickness gets beat by a quick first step; but he's learning, getting some steals, tips, and blocks, and forcing the ball into his help better. He's still got a ways to go, but his O is so much better than Battier's that I'd agree we've improved significantly at two positions-- and our record shows it!

That said, I want Battier back. He'd make a great player/captain/coach/Houston Mayor/Ambassador/NBA Commissioner/POTUS. Come back, Shane!

When Bill Worrell says, he gets on the trampoline there is no better way to describe it, his rebounding, block shots, elevation on jump shots, layups and dunks are all so incredible to watch, he literally bounces off the floor...

    I got love for C-Lee!

Lee is a better option for our current point guards because he is fast and runs the court. Lee makes our point guards better.

Think of Lee and Lowry's chemistry vs AB and Shane
or Dragic and Lee vs AB and Shane

Our player combinations are just better.

Shane was well suited to play with Yao.

Ive been on the Lee bandwagon since the preseason. I'd love to see him start but with the three man rotation between the 2 and 3 he's basically playing starters minutes, and we have been doing great lately...so may as well keep things as they are. If it ain't broke don't try to fix it nawmean?

Anyone still think that trade was just a salary dump? Ha. Here we are in March, over the Luxury Tax, and Lee is outperforming by far what we had in Ariza.

If only we could find that star player to build around, Morey would be able to put together an amazing supporting cast.

He's an awesome defensive player and insanely fun to watch, Bball IQ+ raw athleticism has definitely made him my favorite player. He's also pretty awesome in 2k11:grin:

Courtney Lee was brought in to be the successor to Shane Courtney Battier, a.k.a. the Teflon Don.

Courtney is just like Shane Courntey, only smaller and more faster. Telflon Don v. 2.0 is the next step in the evolution of Teflon Dons.
