Watched this... I thought it was pretty good for the most part... thought the ending could've been a little better... but the movie was pretty solid. I don't think everyone will like it... but it was just one those really interesting movies that had a good story behind it.
I thought it was really. I agree with the general consensus among the critics that the director fails to create a consistent tone, and think the biggest complaint for me with regards to that is the uneven score that just doesn't connect well with what's happening on screen, at times. But Matt Damon and Emily Blunt have great chemistry and they definitely carry this film. There is some deeper subtext here that is never fully explored in a truly meaningful way, and there are some plot holes. But it doesn't matter too much, it's definitely enjoyable.
Agreed. When I first saw the trailer, my first thought was "Interesting concept, lousy title." Even if they took out the "Adjustment" and made it "The Bureau" it would be better, though I guess folks might confuse it with the FBI.
Then I don't think it'd make much sense. Based on what the agents actually do, as they explain in the movie, I think it fits.
